About me

Hi, I’m André! I’m a Brazilian-born creative living in Toronto (Canada), with a passion for telling stories through moving images. My journey started with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Systems and Media from Universidade Federal do Ceará, and later took me to Nova Scotia Community College, where I earned a diploma in Screen Arts in 2023. Since then, I’ve dived deep into the world of production and post-production — from coordinating commercial shoots to polishing the final edit. I’m fluent in tools like DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom, and I’ve worked across a wide range of projects: commercials, festivals, weddings, gastronomy, music videos, and more. I’m fluent in Portuguese and English, with a dash of French and Spanish, and I’ve been lucky enough to volunteer at some unforgettable events like the FIFA World Cup (2014), the Rio Olympics (2016), and Campus Party (2018). Outside of work, you’ll probably find me behind a drum kit, practicing Taekwondo, or getting lost in a good video game/board game. I’m driven, curious, and love collaborating with people who are passionate about what they do. Whether it’s a fast-paced commercial set or a quiet editing suite, I’m happiest when I’m helping bring a creative vision to life.
